Dan Deacon's - Paddling Ghost music video, directed by Natalie van den Dungen... Puppets by me, shot in Melbourne. After first constructing the skeleton pirate with his mechanized jaw, I built the Dan puppet out of a pink bath towel and a lovely orange bed spread. The Paddling Ghost himself is a pillow case, two rubber bands and a spoon. Being our own boss, we managed to trick ourselves into a day off and spent an entire afternoon at the Dali exhibition.

Natalie directed it so she is particularly great, it also features some super tidy puppeteering by Heath McIvor plus heaps of other top stuff done by other great people in Melbourne, check the list, there's lots.

Anyone with a keen eye will see that the pirate flag and trousers are made out of a very well loved pair of Stubbies.
